What are the three sea day numbers at the top of MM-SEAS home pages?
The USCG requires you keep track of three different sea day numbers depending on what you are doing.

Total Sea Days = Total days in your life on vessels that the USCG will give you credit for. In this case it's 747.
Recency Days (Last 3 Years) = For certain officer endorsements you need to provide a certain number of days in the last 3 years. In this case it's 403.
Renewal Days (Last 5 Years) = To renew Domestic Licenses and Ratings without an open book test you need 360 days in the last 5 years. For certain STCW endorsements if you have over 360 days in the last 5 years you can take reduced courses to renew. In this case it's 701.
You want to keep track of different numbers depending on what you are doing with your license. If this is your first USCG License Total Days and Recency Days are what you want. If you are renewing and upgrading your USCG license you want to pay attention to all three. If you are just renewing what you have, Renewal Days is your key to success.

We hope this made your life a little easier and if you have other questions the MM-SEAS team is always here to help!
